This bug refers to video crash on X.Org server 1.10 is present in lucid. Yes gang65 package https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg- video-openchrome/1:0.2.904+svn920-1 fix this bug. I have tested 12.04 and 12.10 and the bug is not present. Why not add repository with backports package
