Yes, I can confirm that both kpowersave/powersaved and klaptop does not handle power button at all, therefore it makes sense to perform dcop call to ksmserver if KDE session is running. This is already the case with default Kubuntu install (where guidance-power-manager is used). ** Changed in: acp
