I have tried update-manager with the ayatana scrollbars (removed u-m from the
blacklist) and it worked, the main ui works with the new scrollbar, however,
when checking for updates/installing updates it can not connect to
aptdaemon/can not start aptdaemon (the process doing the updates and displ
I found in Ubuntu wiki that update-manager has been “blacklisted” from
ayatana-scrollbar to not use overlay scrollbars. Why?
