Uh, we just confirmed this "with latest updates applied". My old bug is
bug 806396, in case it matters. It seems like starting firefox triggers
this for me.

The problem was most probably due to a test release of compiz that exposed a
lot of stacking problems.
Please reopen if you ever see this again.

I had a similar bug earlier, where the dash would also appear below the
other windows. But I couldn't reproduce it on my laptop, now I can. So,
all the windows created by unity (switcher, dash, dash popups) appear
below other windows, _but_ input still goes to them, so it's only the
visual part tha
I've got several of these screenshots lined I (I thought I'd filed it
already).
