I can confirm that the characters that I attempt to use are indeed not
on my keyboard, or probably any keyboard for that matter. If this is a
technical limitation, then I apologize for the inconvenience. It is only
that autotyping using Keepass (Windows version) works with all
characters.

"Maybe it is a problem with the keyboard layout. KeePassX can only auto-type
characters which are present in the active keyboard layout, if a char is not
