I also have this bug when using Metacity. However, it appears to be a
bug in Beryl, not slab. It does not appear when running Compiz. I'm
unsure whether to reject this bug on these grounds, as other panel
applets do work with Beryl, and the "window type" (or something along
those lines) may be set

one click and on top of other windows on the second click. leave a
window where the menu will come up and keep clicking on it. or to be
