I have installed lvm2 which for some reasons bring in mdadm although I
have no RAID. During package configuration I chose to not start any
RAIDs automatically nor in the initramfs. Still, I get warnings about
"no arrays" and "emergency procedure".

If the INITRDSTART is 'none' than no arrays should be started and no
modules loaded.
