Not possible to install Knotes in 11.04 64-bit
To manage notifications about t
i uninstalled, updated, restarted, and reinstalled without any
problems, but knotes remembered my stickies so mabye it didn't
uninstall completely. i'm however guessing that either un update fixed
it or they did something to the particular server that ubuntu chose to
download from

Hi, try to switch in Unity 3d and retray to reinstall all:
sudo apt-get update;
sudo apt-get upgrade;
and let me know. If the problem does not appear, mark this bug as

clicking on that link works but software center just asks if i want to
reinstall so apparently that is the version i installed after
switching to unity 2d

which is 6.2_amd64 and not 6.1_amd64.deb you are posted. If you don't
have any other problems pleas mark invalid this bug.

Judging by the error message, it looks like there was an error at the
Swedish ubuntu mirror. It is therefore quite possible that they fixed it
while you were switching sessions.
For the benefit of this bug report, could you uninstall Knotes and
verify that it's still broken under Unity 2D?
