Well, method 3 means that you want to close the window (just have it in
the tray). Method 4 should probably quit it, but it is caused by bug
#667050, marking as duplicate.

This problem appeared for me today, was using same skype yesterday ok,
but for me the tray icon has disappeared as well, so alternative 1 still
works.
