I finished looking some of the code and trace output, checking the
traces against debug symbols. I didn't notice the source of the
corruption, very likely is the r8169 as we thought initially, but I
wonder if gro has something to do with
3.0.0-4.5 seems to work. I'll see about getting another ethernet card
so that we can rule out the 8169 driver
