The message indeed was the same as reported in bug #37128 - only in
german.
As of today, this bug is fixed with the current upstream release.

I had what sounds the same problem with new install of Edgy tonight.
Running gtk-update-icon-cache -f /usr/share/icons/hicolor/ as suggested
in bug #37128 fixed the problem.
