Fixed indeed in Oneiric. Note however that I still have a server running
Natty, with the Ubuntu packages. And there I'm seeing:
$ ec2-version
1.3-57419 2010-08-31
$ ec2-describe-group default-https
GROUP default-HTTPS The main access is through HTTPS
But no group ID on the GROUP line

I can't reproduce this using ec2-api-tools version 1.4.3.0-0ubuntu1 (oneiric).
For example:
$ ec2-describe-group default | grep GROUP
GROUP sg-134da77a 950047163771default default group
$ ec2-version
1.4.3.0 2011-05-15
