I did an upgrade to today on my Advent 4211 (MSI Wind) that has the realtek card and network manager dropped connection frequently, though output suggested it was connected. it was not possible to load sites. The system is completely up to date. I am not sure which driver I am using, below is the output of lspci -v if that helps. The card and driver work with WICD but not Network Manager.
