I have this same problem. Mine changes from Human-Clearlooks to Custom
randomly. When I set it back, the window borders revert, but the rest
of the window in Nautilus has the wrong color for the menu backgrounds
and wrong icons. I'm attaching a screen shot of Nautilus with the wrong

I have it already. Attached is a screen shot of the unwanted theme and a
second screen shot showing how the custom theme has turned up. The
Nautilus symbols are horrible in this theme. Second attachment is in the
next comment.

I will have to wait until it changes again. I just had a look at the
background themes and custom is not on the list of themes but is their
after the random change. Will get back to you.

It changes from ambiance to custom at random intervals. Not during a
session only at login or startup. The logout of the custom has a green
man icon.
