Colin, I don't mean to be petulant, but running apt-get update, etc.,
only works if you are not affected by bug #74176 and are able to run
apt-get update without it crashing.
I'm stuck at Herd1 until I get a daily that works (bug #79245, bug

window before starting the installer.
