IThanks for checking that and I'm sorry about the delayed response. One
more kernel to try if possible, would you mind seeing if this kernel
fixes it? It just contains a backport of the commit that disables FBC by
default and provides a module option to reenable it in an opt-in fashion
which I high
Are there any news on this issue? I still can not dock/undock my X220
while running, which is really annoying … :/

I notice that changing to other X Terminal Ctrl-Alt-F8 and then back to
Ctrl-Alt-F7 (can sometimes) bring X back. Sometimes not, then I restart
service gdm. Sometimes machines completely crashes.
