Unplugging
There is a new upstream release (1.4.1) that should fix this bug, it'll
get in oneiric soon. It requires xserver 1.10 though, so a direct
backport to anything older than natty is not possible.

I'm not keen on updating releases any sooner than I have to. It's nice
not to have to adjust my workflow in random ways every 6 months. I use
Lucid both at home and at work, which makes it a second reason not to
upgrade.

For some reason, it was decided that the old bug
also wondering if it would just work with the wacom driver on 11.04,
like aiptek 1U et al. (though you'd need to edit
/usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-wacom.conf to load it for Aiptek)
