Cooper, yehgoo's suggestion worked for me. I entered
sudo sh -c "echo 'blacklist nv_tco' >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-
watchdog.conf"
on the command line, which just appends "blacklist nv_tco" to the
"/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-watchdog.conf" list. No problems so far. I

Hi - this happens to me too. Very new to linux (<1 year) - Dual boot
windows7 64 bit with linux mint 64bit (currently) also happened with
ubuntu 11.10 (why i tried mint, still happens!) - asus p5n32-e sli
motherboard, 8GB ram, nvidia gtx, etc.
Every reboot from linux to try and get back into windo
