In Oneiric this problem does not exist any more. There all option
settings (I tried Color/Gray and Duplex on my HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 A
Plus) are correctly followed.
Dmitry, please send your files anyway, for a possible SRU (Stable
Release Update) on Natty.

I believe its not a fault of Libreoffice, but the CUPS driver, as I get
the same scenario when printing from Shotwell or anything else. Its so
bad I have to have the settings in Control Panel same as in Print Dialog
when printing photo quality otherwise the data sent to printer is
invalid!@
