Regression happens when newer versions introduce a bug which was not present in
older ones.
If this issue prevents from using dbmail correctly for most users, we can

The version 2.2.1-1 is included in feisty.
To my mind dapper and edgy are still supported (LTS will be supported
four more years on the server). I think this bug should be fixed at
least in LTS version also.
