The issue with long descriptions being cut in the middle by three points
"..." is already marked as "wishlist" in Bug #532072.
So we can close this bug now.

Hi,
LibreOffice has a long description, at least in french.
So, yes this bug is fixed now : with the new layout the text is no more
hidden by the stars.
But there is still an issue : we still have to expand the whole window
to see the complete description of a software ! This is not very
conveni
Thanks for the report. I think this is fixed now, with the new layout
that puts the number of reviews after the stars. But I'm not sure,
because I have not found a package that has both ratings and a long
title.
