The logs show that the crash was caused by corrupted code having
mysteriously appeared in the /sbin/shadowconfig script. The only real
way that can happen in this particular context is if there's been a
problem reading from the CD or a problem writing to the hard disk. This
is generally due to a fa
/var/log/installer/syslog
is an empty file- I can not attach it!
