I clicked on "library" and clicked on "Type/Photos". That did the
trick. So, there is no bug! Somehow I did not find this in the
documentation. I let this sit to call it to the attention to those who
maintain the documentation. After all, my ignorance cost me an
afternoon of ago
Try this:
Go to the library page
Clear the find toolbar (or turn it off)
Does that solve your problem?
