corrupt data error, like they do for MBOFH. Also, as you mention, your
installation media has been verified and should not be giving off those

I was using a CD to do the installation (not USB). I have verified that
the ISO, and the CD, are not corrupt: the ISO passes the md5 checksum,
and the CD passes its internal self-check.
