The same problem. Bug appears in the following apps: Opera browser,
LibreOffice Calc, some Wine programs, Kopete. To see it (in Opera) just
select text of any link in page and drag it. Unity dock appears and does
not hide after releasing mouse button. The only way to hide dock is
closing applicatio

Workaround is to drag a desktop icon over the launcher (no need to
release just hover). After resize the window to maximized and the
launcher hides.

The pattern is about Java apps, including Libreoffice which uses Java.
When I'm running certain function of Java and some event activates the
indicator function in the launcher, it stays visible over all windows
until the apps related to Java are closed.

I am also having this problem. It seems to happen when I am running
LibreOffice Writer. While Writer is open, the launcher won't hide, no
matter what I do.
