Asus M51sn here, not dell.
In my case it doesn't matter how quickly you type, because when a
keystroke is dropped it will be dropped anyway even if you type slower.

Its a common issue with dell vostro v13. Impossible to type quickly.

How often do the keystrokes (this bug is about) happen?
Because I do observe occasionally random keystrokes dropped, I
definitely do (i.e. it's not me missing the keys), and it's definitely a
regression starting from 11.04 or 11.10; but to me it doesn't happen
very often, it's maybe 1% of the keys

Correction: it still happens most of the time with Oneiric.
It seems to be related to those messages in the log, which do not appear on a
fresh boot but do appear after resume:
