regarding this being fixed in Quantal. For future reference you can
manage the status of your own bugs by clicking on the current status in
the yellow line and then
this bug is gone in recent ubuntu 12.10, so it can be closed. thanks for

Hi! I've updated to 12.04 with the automatic graphical updater. Since
there is no hibernation by default in 12.04, I ran 'sudo pm-hibernate'
and I'm getting still the same error: screen is black for 2 seconds and
the message "PM: Not enough free swap" appears.

I've run the apport-collect command on the machine with current ubuntu
11.04 and all updates. Hibernate still doesn't work, but Stand-by does.
I think because of my workaround mentioned above.
I will try with ubuntu 12.04 beta 2 later, because I have to install it
for testing hibe
Forgot to mention: Hibernate doesn't work, only the screen is getting
black with the message "PM: Not enough free swap" after that, the ubuntu
comes back, but the screen is locked like after the screen saver.

This happens on Ubuntu Natty 11.04.
The Laptop gets in Standby/Hibernate Mode right, but only resume with a black
screen. Can't type anything or switch to another tty.
WORKAROUND: just repl
