I have the same problem in Ubuntu 11.10 alpha 2 and Nautilus 3 :
Each time I do a right click and select "Properties" on a file, not only
mp4, Nautilus freezes, no Properties window appears and I have to force
quit the program.
Some of the error messages I get when I run Nautilus from terminal :
[Expired for nautilus (Ubuntu) because there has been no activity for 60
days.]

Thanks for your answer. I installed all gstreamer-dbg packages and
created a new backtrace which hopefully contains all symbols needed.
