Acknoledged, Marcel, it is in fact the same bug. Funny why it didn't
originally appear in my Mav install on October 2011. Pity that it can't
be corrected because of nasty Natty, itself far from stable.

Thank you for your bug report. You do not set LC_NUMERIC, so the LANG
value pt_BR.UTF-8 is used for all numerical representations (not only in
gcalctool but in all other places as well), I therefore think gcalctools
behaviour is correct... Does it work if you set LC_NUMERIC?

Checked in Natty 64, same hw and language config.: dot key works, but
calculator screen shows a comma instead of dot, as if the primary
language was set to PT_BR instead of EN.
