I tried to purge xorg-edgers. But I had not time to retry a migration from
10.10 to 11.04 by my self because I had to work.
In between, the updater in background made something like hundreds updates
automatically.
When I rebooted my computer the day after, Ubuntu was no more working. I saw

The main problem is caused by packages from xorg-edgers PPA, which
forces the removal of plymouth. Could you please install ppa-purge and
install the packages from the official ubuntu archive before upgrading.
