reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the
development release - Hardy Heron. It would help us greatly if you could

I am connected using ssh2, under ubuntu edgy, consistent, random crashes
while idling, i think it has crashed while transferring.

The workflow was the following:
gftp (not configured/changed) => quick connection to a heavy traffic
anonymous ftp server (over a weak wlan line if important) => some change
dir / lists => idling for a couple of minutes => unattended crash
reported by crash reportert

Ok im having trouble confirming this. Do you have gftp set up with
default settings? How long do you let gftp sit? are you closing gftp and
its crashing or are you trying to work again and it crashes? I just
installed gftp common and gftp-gtk. I let it sit for 10 min and
everything seems okay. How
