Well, it's clear that it's not a Banshee bug then, but an issue with the
UbuntuOne redirector. For the lack of any better package, I'm just going
to point this bug at libubuntuone.

The first address works correctly and sends me to amazon.co.uk. The
second address sends me to amazon.com (U.S.) which is wrong, in my case.
