I am also experiencing a bug and have also found a workaround. The
problem appears to be with elevation - ie the date and time app fails to
request it. Running from terminal the above quoted command works if

I'm also affected by this bug, when I run /usr/bin/indicator-datetime-
preferences nothing happens, no window or anything is opened and not
message is written to the terminal.

settings, it's supposed to open the Evolution calendar.
