Just got this crash yet again, but this time all I had to do was open
the Software Center, look up Midori to see more information on its
ratings, then closed it a couple minutes later; no attempts to
install/remove anything were made. Soon after this crash popped up. It
seems the USC now crashes ev
Had attempted to use Software Centre to install Skype - on clicking
'install', the program froze, and after some minutes, I closed Software
Centre which resulted in the crash. I think this is to do with Software
Centre needing to access the Canonical Repo???

The issue doesn't seem anymore. but software center still doesn't work.

happen on it's 2nd use in a session. (if it can install/remove at all.)
The related bug - "software-center crashed with DBusException in
call_blocking(): ..." is private so no idea what is happening there

Not only USC in my AMD64 it affects too Synaptuc and Aptitude, I cannot
