A work-around is to build gaim-encryption with libnss and libnspr from
Firefox.
I've uploaded gaim-encryption 3.0+beta7-0ubuntu2 with this change.

The backtrace indicates a bug in libnss3.so.0d which is in libnss3-0d.
The source package for libnss3-0d is xulrunner.
This needs to be fixed in libnss3-0d and not in gaim-encryption (the bug
appeared after the last upload of xulrunner).
