This is a bug in the ipw2000 driver, and not in network-manager.
Correct upstream and network-manger (and any other tool) falls
appropriately.

This might be a dhcp problem, because when I'm connected the tolerance
can be -82dBm. But for sure when the signal reaches -83dBm the link goes
down
