I have no idea how I could reproduce the crash on a text console, since the crash happens when switching to console. I doubt the Alt+SysRq commands would have any effect since Alt+SysRq+b does not. (Added xorg.conf to bug 63844's report.) -- Ctrl-Alt-F1 freezes system https://launchpad.net/bugs/
