I'm using Ubuntu 11.04 with the Unity 3D and the icon appears fine.

This bug was reported against an old version of Unity. The new version
of Unity is almost an entire rewrite based on very different
technologies. Could you please check if this issue is present in the
current version, and if it is reopen the bug to a NEW status.

Somehow, appeared a black icon in the panel with the name Kdevelop.bin
that refers to the KDevelop window. But it is unpinnable. It's
completely dark and has no image on it.
