Can't connect to hidden network a
I encountered the same problem, after upgrading and deleting the
(working) entry in the manager, and adding it again. The problem is not
searching for the hidden ssid and thus not auto connecting (after
reboot).
For me the solution was something like (not sure though, not repeatable, it now
stays
I have 11.04 on a Dell Inspiron.
Initially, wireless was working fine (autoconnect, ...)
I then cable connected for a while
Now I need to "connect to hidden network" as described above.

Can't connec
I have the same problem in Ubuntu 11.04 64-bit. Network manager does not
automatically connect to my hidden network, although "automatically
connect" is checked in the settings. I have to go to "connect to hidden
network", select my network, enter my password and then I can connect to
that network.
Hidden SSID auto-connect fine here, as soon as I remove the usual non-
hidden one they'd connect to normally ;)
Reassigning to 'linux', since it's probably an issue with how iwl3945
deals with hidden SSIDs.
