Well, I'm no longer having this issue. It was a video problem as far as X locking up. What I did to resolve this issue was to install the newest ATI drivers. To resolve my CPU usage issue, I removed all the CPU packages from kernel. The CPU usage has happened once since I've removed those things fr

You should probably attach (attachment, no copy-pasting) at least Xorg.conf, /var/log/Xorg.0.log, command 'lspci -vv':s output and see if other /var/log/ files have something of interest after the crash. Just so there would enough information about your hardware so that maybe someone would have a
