Yes, it's Maximum Speed by default when running on AC, and Maximum Power
Saving by default when running on battery. Then there's us who want the
laptop to run cool and quiet even when it's plugged :)

Thanks Tormod, new gpm feature I didn't know before... strange, maximum
speed, always, by default...mark as rejected since it is not kernel
relevant.
