I got the same problem after a clean install of 11.10 and then importing
Evolution's settings. Right-clicking and choosing properties on the
Gmail contacts account I deleted the '@gmail.com' part of my user name
and clicked apply. Upon restarting Evolution I was prompted for my
password and now it
I'm having the same problem as Alexander.Viator's. So far Evolution
isn't able to download data from my google calendar. Even after erasing
the account with gconf-editor (impossible other way) and re-creating it
again (it doesn't ask for a password)

Out of sudden, google addressbook started to work today. Just asked for
password (without any reason) and in a moment contacts are here. I
didn't update anything. Strange.

I've experimented. If I enter another username for google addressbook it
asks for password. It seems uses password of existing gmail account
automatically.

Evolution also doesn't allow me to delete google address book "Could not remove
address book."
I have to use gconf-editor to clear /apps/evolution/addressbook/sources
