Hmm, well I'm in a similar boat with no real luck, heres a stacktrace I
got from the crash.

Just a little more information to mull over, a fresh SVN compile runs
fine, so its definatly a packaging issue of some sort.

Hi Kevin,
running from the terminal I have the same problem: clicking on
"storage" the progress bar on the bottom-right works a sec and then the
program crashes.
Attached is the backtrace.
