Can you also boot your computer without usplash to confirm that this
issue is really caused by usplash? To disable upslash during one boot
time, you can follow these steps :
1. Press Esc during Grub boot delay to access the boot menu.
2. Select your actual Ubuntu boot line and press "e" to edit it

No special boot parameters was given. It should be vesa framebuffer, at
least vesafb kernel module is loaded according to lsmod. Please note
that there was no problem at all till upgrading 6.10 not with dapper
neither breezy. Also strange for me the /usplash_fifo in the root
