(wubi made a /host which is much larger,
and the Linux file system extn (n=3, 4, whatever)
is much smaller, due to defaults of wubi

could you install the commandline client and do
gphoto2 --debug --debug-logfile=xx.log -L
write down the number of the .MOV file where it crashes...
and then
gphoto2 -t--debug --debug-logfile=xx2.log
with above nr of the .MOV file that crashes?
