This is a relevant upstream bug
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14660 and there seems to be
some difficulty in getting an acceptable fix in place.
Linus' tree as mirrrored here does not yet show any change in place:

Okay, how can I link this to the kernel packages so them people look
into it ? It seems to be a known and resolved issue, so the patch maybe
should be integrated upstream.
