I reproduced this crash.. installing 11.10 xubuntu in attempt to upgrade
an install of 10.04 ubuntu.. and the same crashing keeps happening in
ubiquity!

finaly i've got Kubuntu installed and i connected the laptop afterwards
to the internet and downloaded the updates and everything is fine now.
the laptop is in use in business already, so i can't reinstall it. i
can't try if it fails on another computer as all of around me runs
K/Xubuntu already...
Could you please reproduce this crash and attach /var/log/syslog and
/var/log/partman to this bug, by commenting on the bug's web page?
