OK, I just updated to 3.8.4 and window placement seems to be fixed. That
is the CCSM plugin "Place Windows" can now successfully open windows to
fixed workspaces, something that had stopped working after 3.8.2, IDK
why.
However, the "Window Rules" plugin is still broken. It is a plugin that
is not
could you please attach a video of the bahavior? it's working normally
for me. i tested each of the compiz modes and the only one behaving a
little bit funky was 'cascade'.
