Fabio, you are only half correct. Indeed this not *only* an Ubuntu issue
because of course Spotify should just shutdown when it receives this
signal. But Ubuntu should be able to manage applications which are not
well behaved. For example, it should either show a dialog asking to kill
the blocking
Every process is killed with kill -15.
A kill -15 will send the program a SIGTERM command, if it has been written
correctly it will recognise this and try to shut down the process cleanly·
So this is not an Ubuntu issue.

I am perfectly aware that it's not in Ubuntu repositories. This bug
report is NOT about Spotify, but Ubuntu's handling of programs not
letting it shut down (which should be killed). When I shut down my
system I'd like it to shut down or present me a dialog of why it can't.
