The bug in Debian is not the same problem, the problem was on purge, not
installing.
update-inetd is no more in netbase package. As Ubuntu drop inetd dependency
on netbase, we do not install update-inetd by default (samba depends on
netbase, and in Debian, netbase depends on and inetd and update-
patch is said to be released on debian unstable.
But to me, it seems it is only patched when purging samba, not when removing
